Already play bass? Tell me where you are and what you want to get better at.
Guitarists and others switching
Know another instrument? Learn what makes a bass line sit and groove.
Players in bands
Play in a band, or want to? Lessons are one-on-one, so we work on your parts: lock in with the drums, follow charts and be the player a band can lean on.
What you can learn
Technique
Posture, right and left hand, and clean fingerstyle. Pick and slap basics when you are ready.
Timing & groove
Play in time with a metronome, lock in with the drums, and learn grooves in rock, funk, R&B, jazz and Latin.
Reading, the neck & songs
Tab and chord charts, scales and arpeggios on the neck, then learning songs and playing along to backing tracks or with a band.

Who's teaching
I'm Remi. I've played bass for 15 years, including as a studio player, in a few bands and in an orchestra. I also hold a Diploma in Sound Engineering from Kinneret College (2022, with honours). I teach because I see music as a way to express yourself and bring your thoughts and ideas to life, and I love watching that happen and helping turn ideas into reality.
